Political Action

Political Action Leaders (PALs) work with the chapter/local president, and the Senate District Coordinator (SDC) to engage members in their chapters and/or local associations concerning political action in the world of education. Each PAL becomes a member of the Local Political Action Team (LPAT). Other responsibilities of PALs include communicating with the president about the activities of the LPAT, communicating any rapid response political action steps that might be necessary, and organizing members in the local association regarding the MTA Legislative Agenda. Please email Kristy Dyer at kdyer@agawamed.org with any questions regarding PALs. Be sure to visit her chair report which will be up-and-coming shortly!
